Membership retains and increases a diverse membership and participation through membership events, hospitality activities, and communication materials.

Local Government Observers (LOGO) monitor the activities, budgets, and transparency of local government entities through meeting attendance and action based on observation.
Training is required, and is provided by LWVIL.

Drinks & Dialogue coordinates the monthly discussion of local, state, and national topics relating league positions. Drinks & Dialogue is held on the third Wednesday.

Voter Services increases voter education, facilitates candidate forums, and increases voter registration and participation through school mock elections, registration at Naturalization Ceremonies, and classes on running for local elected offices.

New: Climate Change Committee will work to identify how units of local government are addressing climate change, and communicate that information to constituents.

Does township form of government promote most cost effective and efficient delivery of services to citizens of town of Peoria or are there better ways to provide services.

Serving the people of Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford Counties in Illinois​.
The League of Women Voters of Greater Peoria encourages informed and active participation in government and works to influence public policy through education and advocacy. Any person, 16 or older, male or female, may join.

The LWV is nonpartisan and neither supports nor opposes candidates for elected office but does act on issues after member study and consensus.
