Committee Chairs
Membership retains and increases a diverse membership and participation through membership events, hospitality activities, and communication materials.
Membership Chair: Jan Deissler and Linda Millen Local Government Observers (LOGO) monitor the activities, budgets, and transparency of local government entities through meeting attendance and action based on observation. LOGO Chair: Cheryl Budzinski Drinks & Dialogue coordinates the monthly discussion of local, state, and national topics relating league positions. Drinks & Dialogue is held on the third Wednesday. Chair: Kathleen Kelly Voter Services increases voter education, facilitates candidate forums, and increases voter registration and participation through school mock elections, registration at Naturalization Ceremonies, and classes on running for local elected offices. Chair: Roberta Parks / Mary Jane Crowell Fundraising generates annual operating funds to support the mission and goals of the League. Outreach establishes a powerful and visible League presence through social and print media, collaboration with community partners, and communication within the League and the community. Environmental researches, reviews, and recommends actions on environmental issues through participation in other environmental groups.
